Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay at the Royal, I found the hotel to balance luxury and value quite effectively. The room was a bit of a surprise, as we were upgraded from two rooms to a suite, providing ample space to unwind. The beds were notably firm, reminiscent of sleeping on a door, which I appreciated but might not suit all tastes. Breakfast showcased a diverse selection, including a fantastic omelette station and some delightful pastries. As a vegetarian, I did find the hot items lacked clear labels, making it tricky to choose. The accommodating staff provided plant milk just for me, a lovely touch. The hotel's location is convenient, close to the mall and other attractions. Housekeeping was efficient, and I found the security measures reassuring. The outdoor swimming pool was a nice perk, and with a dining option open until 11 PM, I had plenty of flexibility. For the price point, the Royal offers a neat mix of comfort and accessibility, particularly for culture lovers like myself.
